No. Every account gets 100 free pages the moment you verify your email — no purchase, no card. That's enough to try HexRead on your own documents before you pick a plan.

One physical page counts as one page — an A4, an A3, a scanned image, a dense page full of tables, or a blank page all count the same. No hidden multipliers: your allowance is simply the number of pages you convert this month.

Conversions pause for the rest of the month. You can upgrade to a bigger plan to keep going right away, or wait for your allowance to reset at the start of next month. There's no metered overage, so you never get a surprise bill.

Both. Annual billing costs 10 months for a full year — 2 months free — and carries the same monthly page allowance. You can move up to a bigger plan or to annual billing at any time.

Yes, anytime — from the Stripe customer portal in your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for; we don't lock you into a contract.

Yes, for your document content — on every plan, from the free trial up. We stream your document through memory, convert it, and delete your upload right after conversion; the result is delivered once, then deleted. We keep no document backups, never train on your documents, and record every deletion in a signed audit log. Account and invoice data we're legally required to keep is listed separately in our retention schedule.

Cards and SEPA Direct Debit, billed by HexWorld Solutions GmbH. Listed prices include 19% German VAT; the exact VAT for your country is calculated at checkout. Your documents are processed entirely in the EU, on servers in Paris, and never leave it. Payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe), and invoice records are kept as tax law requires — both listed, with all data locations, in our service-provider list.
